WAZIRABAD: A man has been killed over love marriage dispute.
According to details, Arman Ali, resident of Wazirabad, had love marriage with ‘A’ few days back.
Both the bride and groom came to civil court Wazirabad to record their statements on Thursday. The brother of the bride opened indiscriminate firing when he spotted them, resulting in the death of Ahmad Ali, brother of groom. The suspect fled from the premises of the court after the incident.
According to the police authorities the boy and girl loved each other and they had contracted love marriage in court few days back. They came to the court to record their statements. Meanwhile enraged brother of bride opened fire on them and fled the scene.
“Raids are being conducted to arrest him and he will be soon arrested,” police added.
