LAHORE: Pir Hameeduddin Sialvi, a key player in settling the recent sit-in of a religious party in Lahore, has denied the impression that he entered in any deal with government to withdraw the demand of Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah’s resignation.
He said the demand of Rana Sana’s resignation is terminal and it can not be withdrawn.
Pir Sialvi had postponed the demand after receiving a telephone call of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday.
Pir Sialvi said said Shehbaz Sharif assured him that Rana Sana would resign in two days.
“We don’t want any politics on the matter of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat,” he said and added that he was being cheated by the government.
He has submitted the application for holding the Khatm-e-Nubuwwat Conference on December 10.
He also claimed that the 15 lawmakers will announce their resignations at the conference.
